Fun experience! Sometimes I felt the fishing was a little slow, maybe add like a a weighted lure or something lol Over all aesthetic of the game was really nice, and the mystery keeps you coming back!

Thanks for checking it out! I'm glad you liked the aesthetic and the story. :D

I could play around with adding a button to drop your lure (or something like that) and just speed up the pacing a bit. Appreciate your feedback!

P.S. your stuff looks really cool, Ima check some of it out too! I'll be making my next project in Godot, so it's cool to see that some of yours are in Godot too.

I just finished the demo! This was super fun, I love the concept of mixing spooky mystery with cozy fishing. I really feel for the character, constantly gaslit. I also really liked the retro graphics! It added to the horror, the only thing i turned off in settings was screen jumping (it made me confused while trying to catch fish) but i didn't mind it during the woods walking portion.

The only part of the game I slightly struggled with and took a long time on was getting the debris off the bottom at the end of the demo, a lot of patiently waiting to lift my hook towards the current so i can move stuff around over and over again (things got caught on each other so it took longer than i think it should have).

overall a fun concept :) thanks for making this.

Aww, I'm glad you enjoyed it! Thanks for playing all the way through as well! Haha yes, poor Finn, constantly being gaslit.

Appreciate the feedback! I'll look into ways to speed up the fishing a little to keep the pacing up, and make the debris a little smoother to interact with!

cool spooky

OMG, thank you for playing! I super appreciate you :D
If you have any feedback on your experience I would love to hear it too! Always trying to improve my skills, and the stuff I make.

Thank you again
